Learningthelaw.org accepts guest articles from law students and practitioners. This is unpaid — you get a byline credit and a link to your LinkedIn profile.
Guidelines
- 1000+ words, original content, no plagiarism
- Real name required — no pen names or anonymous submissions
- Include your institution/role (e.g. “LLB Candidate, University of Ibadan” or “Barr. [Name]”)
- One-sentence bio for your author box
Citations
Use Word’s native footnote feature (References → Insert Footnote) for all citations. Book references should stay as plain text, not links.
External Links
Your article must NOT contain more than 2 external links. All external links are set to nofollow by default. If you need a dofollow link, email Kolawole@learningthelaw.org to negotiate before submitting. This is to avoid spamming.
Terms & Conditions
By submitting, you confirm this work is original and unpublished elsewhere, you grant learningthelaw.org exclusive rights to publish it, and you agree our editorial team may edit for accuracy, clarity, and house style before publishing. Submissions are reviewed as drafts and are not guaranteed publication. Your content/submission must not read more than 35% AI & Plagiarism combined. We use Undetectable.ai to check, you may want to run your content through that.
